We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in the Life Sciences sector. This is a full-time role that can be based in any of our . offices, including Austin, Chicago, Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Menlo Park, Orange County, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, Washington DC, or Wheeling, WV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, client service, and team collaboration, with a deep understanding of the Life Sciences sector.

The Senior Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue opportunities and enhancing ****'s market presence in the Life Sciences sector. This individual will work closely with sector and practice leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that align with our Life Sciences Sector OKRs. The Senior Business Development Manager will also provide leadership, sector expertise, and strategic support, and will collaborate with senior leaders to create actionable business plans, develop metrics to track progress, and deliver thought leadership that positions the firm as a sector leader. This role will also involve supporting pitch strategies, client insights, event management, and storytelling to effectively communicate our sector capabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans that support ****'s Life Sciences Sector OKRs
- Coach partners on individual business plans and connect them with specialized business development professionals
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop metrics to track progress
- Deliver thought leadership that solidifies ****'s reputation as a Life Sciences sector leader and opens doors to client conversations
- Help partners develop pitch strategies and value propositions based on a deep understanding of our sector capabilities and client needs
- Lead the drafting of Life Sciences sector pitches, RFPs, and presentations
- Support and coach Life Sciences sector partners in delivering a distinctive pitch experience
- Collaborate with Research and Business Intelligence and Data teams to share market intelligence and uncover revenue opportunities
- Formulate plans to target new clients and broaden relationships with existing clients
- Provide input on Life Sciences sector events, sponsorships, and CLEs
- Prepare lawyers for Life Sciences sector conferences, seminars, and networking events
- Help communicate our Life Sciences sector story internally and to the market

Qualifications:

- 8+ years of marketing experience in business development and marketing for the Life Sciences sector
- A passion and deep understanding of Life Sciences clients' needs at all stages of development
- Strong client service approach and ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-driven environment
- Exceptional communication and project management skills
- Growth mindset and ability to adapt quickly to change
- Exercises sound judgment and professionalism
- Life Sciences experience strongly preferred
