Interested applicants must have completed their second year of law school and be licensed drivers with an insured vehicle.

- Obtain certification to appear in New Hampshire courts
- Handle cases from start to finish
- Conduct arraignments and bail hearings
- Represent clients in court
- Litigate motions and conduct bench trials
- Work with staff attorneys and investigators
- Participate in daily activities of a busy public defender office
- Opportunity to co-counsel jury trials and participate in jury selection
