Law Firm Billing Manager - Any Firm Location
Job Title: Experienced Law Firm Billing Manager
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Experience: Previous law firm billing management experience required
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC is currently seeking an experienced Law Firm Billing Manager to join our team. This position can be located at any of our firm's locations across the Southeastern United States. As the Law Firm Billing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all billing functions and providing leadership to our Billing team. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Motivate, mentor, and provide leadership to the Billing team
- Monitor workload distribution and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain hands-on knowledge of all billing processes and provide training and support as needed
- Manage and oversee all Billing Department functions and ensure work is completed accurately and within defined deadlines
- Review billing progress, compile reports, and analyze billing statistics
- Conduct training for all billing software users and maintain training materials
Requirements:
- Previous law firm billing management experience
- Strong working knowledge of billing functions and legal billing cycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proficient in Excel and experience with financial systems such as Aderant
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with the ability to multitask
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
