PwC is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Merger and Acquisition Tax practice, specializing in deals tax. This is a full-time position with travel requirements of up to 20%.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help clients with various aspects of merger and acquisition transactions, such as restructuring, divestiture, partnerships, and insolvency. You will also focus on assisting clients in establishing treasury goals, analyzing and quantifying tax assets, assessing tax risks, and modeling taxable income and cash flow impacts.
To be successful in this position, you will need to be a purpose-led and values-driven leader, able to effectively manage and solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will also need to have strong technical knowledge in the area of mergers and acquisitions, as well as the ability to navigate cross-border and diverse teams and engagements.
As a Senior Manager at PwC, your responsibilities will include:
Leading major projects and enhancing processes
Maintaining elevated operational standards
Engaging with clients at senior levels to ensure project success
Fostering trust with diverse teams and stakeholders
Inspiring and mentoring teams to solve intricate challenges
Representing the firm in community organizations
Managing financial analyzes for M&A practices
Providing strategic input into the firm's business strategies
To be considered for this position, you must have at least 5 years of experience and hold a CPA, Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation. Individuals with other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may also be considered.
Some additional qualifications that will set you apart from other candidates include:
Juris Doctorate preferred
Experience managing financial analyzes for M&A practices
Knowledge of tax consulting and planning for corporate restructuring
Ability to conduct due diligence and interpret complex legislative actions
Strong strategic thinking and financial modeling skills
Familiarity with . federal income tax law
Experience building and utilizing networks of client relationships
Proven ability to lead teams and encourage innovation
Proficiency in utilizing digitization tools to enhance engagements
