Overview:
Bowman and Brooke, a leader in complex civil litigation, is seeking a trial-ready and detail-oriented paralegal to join their team in Torrance, CA. This hybrid position allows for a balance of work-from-home and in-office workdays.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and proofread various legal documents
- Work with attorneys to keep litigation advancing in each case
- Assist with discovery, document review and analysis
- Manage electronic case files using a document management system
- Prepare for trial, including compiling trial materials and attending trial
Qualifications:
- Meticulous, diligent, personable, and highly motivated
- Able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
- Comfortable with learning new technology and processes
- Ability to travel nationwide for trial
- Familiarity with client billing guidelines and ability to enter accurate billing entries
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of litigation law firm experience
