Responsibilities:
- Manage calendaring of state court deadlines
- Review and distribute appellate opinions
- Ensure documents are in compliance with court rules before filing
- Supervise service requests, document retrievals, and conventional filings with vendors
- Assist attorneys and staff with procedural research
- Conduct docket research using various systems
- Monitor email and respond promptly
- Handle special projects as needed
- Manage Assistant Managing Clerk to align with department goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Managing Attorney Office or in-house legal setting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent legal research abilities
- Familiarity with state and federal courts in NY, CT, MA, and RI
Salary Information:
- Target base salary range: $130,000 - $150,000
- Actual base salary determined by years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location
