Law Firm Seeks Associate - Transactional Professional in Morristown, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements related to commercial real estate
- Advise clients on corporate matters, including entity formation and stock and asset sale transactions
- Assist in due diligence for real estate and corporate transactions
- Collaborate with clients, outside counsel, and other professionals to ensure smooth deal execution
- Support clients in resolving disputes and issues arising in real estate, corporate, or general business contexts
- Stay current with developments in commercial real estate and corporate law

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey
- 3-5 years of experience in transactional services, with a strong focus on commercial real estate
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and related regulations
- Solid understanding of real estate and corporate law, business transactions, and general business transactional matters
- Experience in drafting and negotiating legal documents and contracts
- Ability to manage multiple projects and transactions simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Client-focused with a dedication to delivering high-quality legal services

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with stock and asset sales or corporate restructuring
- Knowledge of complex financing structures for real estate projects
- Experience in negotiating joint ventures and other business collaborations
- Familiarity with real estate development and zoning matters
