Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process for all non-legal exempt, non-exempt, and temporary Business Professional positions.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for all Business Professional roles.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and firm policies and procedures in the pre-screening and post-employment process.
Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and expectations and assess candidates against job specifications.
Utilize various recruiting resources, including social media, to source and recruit qualified candidates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system and provide analytical recruiting reports to hiring managers.
Analyze recruitment data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance recruiting efforts.
Negotiate service agreements and placement fees with staffing agencies and maintain relationships with recruiters.
Coordinate interviews and candidate testing, if applicable.
Provide candidates with information on job duties, compensation, benefits, and other related information.
Manage the background screening process and review background reports to ensure compliance with firm requirements.
Create and present offer letters to selected candidates, negotiate terms, and enter new hire information into HRIS system.
Partner with internal departments to create new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Manage the firm's affirmative action compliance process for Business Professional recruiting.
Create and monitor the budget for Business Professional recruiting.
Supervise and manage employees, including training, performance evaluations, and making recommendations for hiring, promotion, and termination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or equivalent, and at least 5 years of progressive staff recruitment experience.
Prior experience in a large legal or professional services firm is preferred.
Working knowledge of recruitment and employment administration, as well as familiarity with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
Experience with social media recruiting.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, Excel, Outlook, MS Word, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Knowledge of EEO and Affirmative Action requirements.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
Ability to evaluate skill levels and make placement decisions.
Ability to work with confidential information and respond to sensitive inquiries.
Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to supervise and direct the work of subordinate staff.
Occasional travel may be required.
Salary Information:
In our New York office, the annualized salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
