Environmental Senior Lawyer - Renewable Energy and Project Finance
Salary: Dependent on experience and location
Job Description:
- Seeking an experienced environmental lawyer (8+ years) to join the Environmental & Mass Tort team at Norton Rose Fulbright
- Focus on environmental, energy, and natural resources law with a strong background in infrastructure, renewable energy, and power development projects
- Support project finance and M&A transactions, including work with developers, sponsors, and lenders
- Open to any . office, with preference for California and Texas experience
Key Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience with . federal and state environmental regulatory programs
- Proficiency in securing environmental permits and navigating review processes
- Familiarity with contaminated site management and transactional due diligence
- Ability to work with project finance counsel and lenders on environmental issues
- Exposure to carbon markets and energy transition technologies is a plus
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with third-party environmental reports and title/survey review
- Knowledge of land use law, the Endangered Species Act, and state Public Utilities Commission processes
- Exposure to cross-border energy or infrastructure projects is a plus
