Job Title: International Tax Senior Consultant, Global Trade Advisory
Salary: Range estimate of $73,430 to $167,180, with potential for discretionary annual incentive program

Position Summary:

Deloitte Tax LLP is seeking an experienced International Tax Senior Consultant for their Global Trade Advisory team. This role involves working with some of the world's most well-known and respected companies, providing strategic significance to their global supply chain and effectively managing global trade decisions and obligations. The Senior Consultant will have the opportunity to travel and work with . and multinational companies, understanding national and international trade requirements and aligning client trade functions with their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Provide regulatory analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates
- Advise . and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance
- Work with clients to assess and deploy technology solutions for international trade management operations
- Assist with planning and compliance, exploration of automated import and export solutions, and supply chain efficiency planning
- Provide process improvement planning and implementation assistance
- Assist with trade compliance audits and representation before trade authorities around the world

The Team:

Deloitte Tax LLP's Global Trade Advisory practice is a national practice that advises . and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies, compliance, and technology enablement. The team is comprised of a variety of professionals, including attorneys, operations experts, technology specialists, customs brokers, auditors, and trade management professionals.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model requiring co-location 2-3 days per week
- 3+ years of experience in Import, Export, and/or Technology Enablement experience
- Bachelor's degree in a legal, business, or technology-related field
- Knowledge of . import regulations and preferably export regulations
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work and clients served
- Active accreditation or willingness to obtain one (CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, etc.)
- Prior consulting experience preferred
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM preferred
- Foreign language skills or study abroad experience a plus
- Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with trade management software (SAP GTS, Oracle GTM, etc.)
- Project management experience and strong organizational skills
- Ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate import/export/technology matters
- Detail-oriented and self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio
- SAP SD/MM certifications a plus
