Troutman Pepper, a leading law firm, is currently seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Marketing and Business Development team. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, with opportunities for growth and innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
- Conduct research and analysis on clients, prospects, competitors, and market trends to inform targeted business development efforts.
- Coordinate and execute events, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking engagements.
- Work with the firm's communications team to promote attorney successes through media, publishing, and speaking opportunities.
- Assist with practice group blogs and identify cross-practice connections for internal visibility.
- Collect matter data for the firm's experience management system.
- Create tailored pitch materials, RFP responses, and client presentations.
- Manage legal directory and award submissions.
- Coordinate marketing expenses and assist with practice budgets.
- Maintain marketing lists and business development activities through InterAction.
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries and seek feedback as appropriate.

- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Education and/or Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization.
- Project and process management experience.

Compensation:
Salary is dependent on position, location, education, training, and experience. The hiring salary range for this position is $85, to $105,.
