Responsibilities:
- Support various intellectual property attorneys to provide excellent service to our clients
- Prepare and file, or instruct, on all aspects of US, PCT, and foreign prosecution
- Draft formality documents, attend to document legalization, and comply with priority document requirements
- Review and maintain a docket of associated deadlines for assigned clients
- Timely report official communications to clients and foreign associates
- Consistently achieve 1500 billable hour requirement
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in international, PCT, and US prosecution required
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required; college degree and/or a paralegal certificate preferred
- Must meet requirements to be a Paralegal in California
- Thorough knowledge of patent procedural requirements of USPTO practices required
Salary Information:
- San Diego: $75,100 - $122,500
- Los Angeles: $78,500 - $128,100
- San Francisco/Palo Alto: $85,300 - $139,300
- Denver: $75,100 - $122,500
- Washington DC or New York: $81,900- $133,700
