Salary Range: $131, - $161, annually

We are seeking a highly qualified Staff Counsel to join our legal team and provide legal services to protect and advance the rights of MTA members. This role requires a JD from a nationally accredited institution and admission to practice in Massachusetts, as well as experience in public sector labor law and labor relations.
Responsibilities will include representing local affiliates and members in legal proceedings, providing legal advice, engaging in legal research and writing, and conducting training. The ideal candidate will have experience working with labor unions, managing litigation and disputes, and working with cross-functional teams. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and support business objectives will also be important.
