Law Firm Seeking Experienced Commercial Litigation Associate in Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse
Barclay Damon LLP, a leading regional law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join their Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials Practice Area. With offices strategically located in Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, Washington DC, and Toronto, Barclay Damon has a strong platform for serving clients throughout the region.
This is a great opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to focus on complex commercial and health care-related cases. Candidates with prior experience in complex commercial litigation or health care controversy matters will be highly regarded.
As an associate in this practice area, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and gain experience while working alongside experienced attorneys. This position offers room for growth and significant responsibilities that will be appropriate to your level of experience.
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice in New York State
- Minimum of two years of litigation experience
- Superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated research and writing experience
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Work on complex commercial and health care-related litigation cases
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Participate in trials and other court proceedings
Salary Information:
- Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000
- This range represents the firm's good-faith and reasonable estimate of compensation for the position
- Actual compensation will depend on factors such as years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location
- Performance- or merit-based bonuses and other benefits may also be offered
