Responsibilities

Experience Information

The General Liability Practice at Lewis Brisbois is well-respected and has a proven track record of success, with partners and senior associates who are seasoned trial attorneys with extensive experience.

The General Liability Partner will be responsible for managing a full case load of complex and high exposure cases. They will handle all aspects of the case, including conducting legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings and other legal documents, and attending hearings, mediations, and trials. They will also communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case, providing effective and timely legal advice and representation throughout the litigation process.

The ideal candidate will have a doctorate degree and a Louisiana Bar license, as well as at least seven years of experience in insurance defense litigation. They must also have strong research and writing skills and be able to handle all aspects of litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.

The General Liability Partner will receive a competitive salary based on their experience and qualifications, with a potential for bonuses based on performance. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 annually.
