- Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
- Full-time position
Job Description:
- Responsible for litigation and representation of the Department of Child Safety (DCS)
- Provides advice on child welfare law and represents DCS in dependency, termination of parental rights, guardianship, and adoption matters
- Complies with laws, rules, and office policies and procedures
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by supervising personnel
- Eligible for remote work two days a week
Requirements:
- Knowledge of applicable case law, statutes, rules, and regulations
- Familiarity with legal techniques and basic concepts of American Jurisprudence
- Skilled in oral advocacy, legal writing, analysis and reasoning, and case presentation
- Ability to display appropriate courtroom demeanor, build client relationships, and utilize problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Must have an active Arizona State Bar license
- Must submit a writing sample with application
- Must pass background check and fingerprinting
- Must have valid Arizona Driver's License
