Job Summary:

The E-Billing and Rates Specialist will be responsible for the administration and management of electronic billing processes for all e-billed clients. This includes tracking client rate increase requirements, initiating rate increase requests, and adding rates and diversity for clients in e-billing sites. The specialist will also process and submit monthly invoices for electronically billed clients through third-party vendor sites and assist in overseeing technology functions and upgrades related to e-billing Platforms and Prebill Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up clients migrating to electronic billing for all vendor third-party sites, Aderant, and BillBlast.
- Monitor invoice validation, approval, reductions, and rejections of e-billed invoices to ensure full payment.
- Update e-billing data such as budgets, rates, timekeepers, and disbursement mapping.
- Work with Analytics team on RFP processes and new rate requests for clients.
- Assist with implementation of enhancements and troubleshoot electronic billing issues.
- Review and communicate e-billing guidelines and updates to the billing team.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end accrual activities for e-billed clients.
- Assist with follow-up on aged invoices submitted electronically, including research of short-paid invoices.
- Train attorneys, assistants, and billing team on Prebill Manager.
- Assist with testing and training for Aderant and Prebill Manager upgrades.
- Regularly review e-billing processes for improvement opportunities and propose and execute process improvements.
- Identify and escalate issues as needed and collaborate with team members to develop issue resolution processes.
- Assist with scheduling, coordinating, workflows, and other requests.
- Process electronically billed invoices for specific attorneys or clients as assigned.
- Foster teamwork and encourage collaboration and collective problem-solving within the department.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years hands-on e-billing experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Advanced technical skills utilizing E-Billing vendor sites such as T360, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Collaborati, and Passport.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to foresee problems and effect solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, good judgment, solid time management and organizational skills, and able to effectively multi-task.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, iManage, and other firm applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Dependability and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds.
- Repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement for computer work.
- Clear and concise verbal communication.
- Ability to understand the speech of another person.

Salary Information:

Salary for this position is based on a candidate's education, training, experience, and the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. The salary range for this position in Colorado is - per hour. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
