Summary:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking an experienced estate tax professional to join our team as an Associate Wealth Strategist. In this role, you will partner with financial advisors to provide sophisticated advice to our wealthiest clients on estate and financial planning issues. This role is available in multiple locations across the United States, including California, Florida, Illinois, and Texas.
As part of the Advanced Planning group, you will be responsible for proactively engaging clients and prospects with a net worth of $50M and above in a dialogue surrounding advanced income tax strategies, and the integration of those strategies with their estate plan and investment portfolios. You will also have the opportunity to educate financial advisors and members of the Advanced Planning Group in areas such as income tax and financial planning.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience working at a financial, accounting, or law firm in a related field. An advanced degree or designation, such as JD, CPA, or Paralegal certificate/degree, is required. You should also have active Series 7 and 66 licenses, or be willing to obtain them upon hire.
In addition, you should have a strong understanding of basic estate planning documents, as well as more complex estate planning strategies. Experience with personal income, estate, gift, GST and trust tax disciplines, and advanced wealth transfer planning techniques is also preferred.
