****, a well-respected and thriving mid-sized law firm, is currently seeking a highly qualified M&A Associate to join our Corporate Business Services team. With a focus on private equity firms and other private company parties, our M&A practice group handles a variety of capital transactions both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with private equity firms and other private company parties in a variety of capital transactions
- Provide expertise in M&A, general corporate work, and working with privately held companies
- Handle negotiations for national and international M&A transactions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and partners

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of strong transactional experience
- Experience in M&A, general corporate work, and working with privately held companies
- Strong academic background
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
- Previous experience at a large regional or national law firm preferred
- Licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible to obtain license
