Law Firm Seeking Pricing and Legal Project Management Analyst for Multiple Locations

Holland & Knight is seeking a Pricing and Legal Project Management Analyst to join their Revenue/Legal Project Management Group. This is a hybrid role that requires a combination of pricing, legal project management, and financial analysis experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in these areas and be able to achieve certification in legal pricing and/or project management within two years. The position also requires a and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
As a Pricing and Legal Project Management Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with attorneys to develop and track budgets, assist with RFP responses, and provide reports and data. You will also collaborate with Firm leaders, Finance, Business Intake, IT, and other departments to establish best practices and operational procedures. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive and realistic budgets that meet client needs and Firm profit objectives
- Monitor performance against budget and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist with RFP responses and create specific matter plans to track performance
- Participate in legal operations tasks, such as creating process documents
- Develop standardized processes and procedures to streamline administrative work and data collection
- Coordinate data gathering and analysis for client reviews and presentations
- Provide ad hoc financial requests and recommendations to attorney team
- Collaborate with IT to develop automated reports for increased efficiency
- Assist with special projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in pricing, legal project management, and/or financial analysis
- Experience in the professional services industry is preferred
- Ability to achieve certification in legal pricing and/or project management within two years
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Windows-based software
- Knowledge of profitability software, such as Redwood, and Power BI is preferred
This position may be filled in the District of Columbia or New York. The salary range for this position is $77,600-$116,300/yr in the District of Columbia, $67,400 – in New York State, and $80,099 – $121,400/yr in New York City. These ranges may vary based on qualifications and experience.
