Trademark Paralegal Duties: Manage clients domestic and international trademark portfolios. Prepare and electronically file US trademark applications, renewals, assignments, and other prosecution documents. Correspond with foreign counsel regarding foreign trademark applications, registrations, and records. Communicate with clients regarding status reports, portfolio reports, and prosecution issues. Assist with domestic and foreign opposition and cancellation matters. Monitor deadlines for trademark matter and ensure that all deadlines are met. Perform online trademark clearance searches on USPTO, international databases and Saegis. Coordinate legalization of documents. Provide support to trademark attorneys. Act as a liaison between attorney and client. Assist with intellectual property due diligence. Maintain working knowledge of processes and procedure before the Trademark Office. Contribute to team efforts to streamline workflows and procedures.

Qualifications: The candidate should have formal paralegal training from an accredited program, preferably a 4-year degree program. 5+ years of experience working as a trademark paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting. Conversant and comfortable with the laws that govern trademarks. Copyright and TTAB experience are a plus. Ability to conduct research utilizing online tools such as USPTO, international databases, and Sargis. Outstanding interpersonal skills and client service skills. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
