We are currently seeking an Indirect Unclaimed Property and Escheat Services Tax Manager to join our team in New York or any location in the country.
As an Indirect Unclaimed Property and Escheat Services Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your technical knowledge and industry understanding to identify risks and sustainable planning opportunities for our clients. You will also help us provide effective processes, improve day-to-day reporting, reduce attribution errors and costs, and ensure indirect taxes are handled correctly for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include engaging in client consultations, challenging the unclaimed property and escheat approach, and developing strong relationships with our clients. You will also have the opportunity to team effectively with internal resources and coach junior members of the team.
To qualify for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience. CPA certification, membership in the US Bar, or a professional designation from the IPT is also required. Additionally, you should have technical expertise and experience related to compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.
