About the Role:
As a Practice Innovation Lead, you will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing cutting-edge legal technology solutions within our firm. You will serve as the point of contact for all practice and innovation solutions, gathering requirements and working with attorneys, clients, and vendors to design and build solutions that enhance the client experience. Additionally, you will stay informed about legal innovation trends and advise leadership on best practices, as well as analyze and evaluate potential tools and resources for the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all practice and innovation solution needs
- Work with attorneys, clients, and vendors to gather requirements and design solutions
- Provide ongoing support for deployed solutions and troubleshoot inquiries
- Stay informed about legal innovation trends and advise leadership on best practices
- Analyze and evaluate potential practice support and innovation tools for purchase
- Act as an ambassador of the Knowledge Management Department during interactions with attorneys and staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, ., Masters or equivalent experience with legal industry experience preferred
- 4-8 years of experience in the legal industry
- Strong understanding of knowledge management, process improvement, and legal project management
- Passion for legal technology and its impact on the practice of law
- Familiarity with multiple areas of law, both jurisdictional and topical
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-technical users
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively with others
- Intellectual curiosity and commitment to quality
- Proficiency in analyzing and summarizing findings and presenting them in a concise manner
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This is a full-time, in-office position that operates in a clerical, office setting. The role may require occasional travel to other firm locations. The employee must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and have close visual acuity for activities such as reading and using a computer terminal.
