- The Office of the Attorney General offers a volunteer Law Clerk program for law students to serve the citizens of Maryland in various legal fields.
- The Health Occupations Prosecution and Litigation Division (HOPL) is a group of attorneys focused on health law, including prosecution and litigation.
- Law clerks will assist in building cases, drafting charges, and litigating matters related to fraud, prescription drug violations, professional misconduct, and substandard care.

- Volunteers are expected to work 15-20 hours per week and may be eligible to receive course credit.

- Not all divisions accept law clerks every term, so applicants may be contacted by a division other than their top choices.
