Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A reputable law firm located in Seattle, WA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general litigation and a proactive approach to legal challenges. Duties:

• Handle a variety of cases in the litigation practice area
• Represent clients in all stages of commercial litigation
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and discovery responses
• Participate in client meetings and provide strategic advice
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies
• Prepare for and represent clients in court proceedings
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records and case files

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of general litigation experience
• Strong background in handling all phases of litigation
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Proven analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• An active member of the Washington State Bar Association in good standing

• Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
