Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified attorney to join our Global Contracting Team (GCT) in the Office of General Counsel at WTW. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, and the successful candidate will work closely with other lawyers in the GCT and report to the Deputy General Counsel of Health Wealth and Career in North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting and experience in the employee benefits or health insurance industry is preferred. The position is available in a hybrid remote-office environment in either Arlington, VA or Nashville, TN.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and vendor agreements.
- Advise business colleagues on compromise positions and risks related to contract provisions.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals for potential clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to business segments as part of the North American Legal team.
- Manage and prioritize contract targets and deadlines.
- Collaborate with other internal teams to provide support and coordinate with external parties.
- Manage customer relationships and escalate management issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

- Must have a law degree.
- Minimum of five years of experience as counsel.
- Proven track record of efficiently and effectively handling complex and sophisticated contract reviews.
- Ability to align with WTW's approach to contracting and build strategic relationships.
- Comfortable working with all levels of senior management and providing strategic legal advice.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and opinions.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and understand the Company's legal and ethical obligations.
- Respected for expertise and work ethic.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary compensation range for this role is $140, to $160,, with the potential for an annual short-term incentive bonus. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as various leave and retirement benefits.
