Requirements:
- Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor/Visiting Clinical Professor for Fall 2025
- 7/1/2025-6/30/2026 semester appointment
- Co-teach in the Domestic Violence Clinic (DVC) or teach in one of UCI Law's other core clinics
- Salary range of $125,000 to $175,000 annually, prorated by length of appointment
- Minimum qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree and at least 5-7 years of legal practice and/or teaching experience in the relevant practice area
- Must be a member of a state bar and demonstrate potential for excellence in clinical teaching
Responsibilities:
- Co-teach or teach in one of UCI Law's core clinics
- Provide holistic, client-centered, culturally sensitive services to abuse survivors
- Engage in community education and policy advocacy projects
- Produce broader systemic change around the complex problem of domestic violence
- Prepare students for the practice of law at the highest levels of the profession
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution
- Member of a state bar
- At least 5-7 years of legal practice and/or teaching experience in the relevant practice area
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in clinical teaching
