Summary:
Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree and at least three years of experience in commercial real estate as a paralegal. This full-time position will involve assisting with commercial real estate closings, reviewing title and survey, revising and reviewing legal documents, and maintaining files.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with commercial real estate closings
- Review title and survey
- Revise and review lease amendments, non-disturbance agreements, and other documents
- Organize and maintain files
- Prepare closing documents
Requirements:
- Four-year degree or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in commercial real estate as a paralegal
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Occasional bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting light weights
