Job Responsibilities

The Asbestos Litigation Associate Attorney will be part of the Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice at a law firm. The responsibilities include:

- Managing all phases of asbestos litigation, which encompasses case management, motion practice, and discovery.
- Handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Representing a diverse range of clients including manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and property owners.
- Potentially acting as National Counsel in asbestos litigation cases.
- Collaborating within a growing and supportive team environment.
- Developing and utilizing substantive litigation skills, with a focus on asbestos and toxic tort law.

Education and Experience Information

- Admission to the California bar.
- Experience ranging from one (1) to seven (7) years in asbestos litigation.
- Experience in case management, motion practice, discovery, and conducting hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- While experience in asbestos and toxic tort law is preferred, candidates with strong litigation skills from other areas are also considered.

Salary Information

- Minimum Salary: USD $135, per year.
- Maximum Salary: USD $180, per year.
- Competitive compensation package including benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with employer contribution.
- Bonus eligibility for meeting minimum hourly requirements.
