Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a significant patent portfolio and providing legal advice on various intellectual property matters. You will also work closely with senior lawyers to develop IP strategies and provide counseling to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate invention submissions and prepare and prosecute patent applications
- Coordinate general IP activities and provide legal advice on patentability and freedom to operate
- Support intellectual property litigation and dispute resolutions
- Draft and negotiate IP related agreements and support M&A activities
- Develop and provide training for key employees on IP matters
- Act as an expert in your field and provide direction to other team members
- Be a true business partner, delivering clear and pragmatic advice with timely and impactful solutions

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field
- Juris Doctor and license to practice law in current jurisdiction (willingness to be licensed in Minnesota and registration to practice in front of USPTO)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications
- Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
- Excellent academic track record

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, biochemistry, food science, or related field
- Excellent communication, advocacy, and drafting skills
- Creative, resilient, and flexible problem-solving abilities
- Conflict resolution and judgment skills
- Ability to assess and handle risk
