Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid (required to work on-site three days a week)
Location: Chevy Chase, MD (onsite)

Overview:
GEICO, one of the nation's largest and most successful insurance companies, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Litigation Executive Assistant. This role will support the Head of Staff Counsel and other Staff Counsel leadership team, providing a broad range of administrative tasks and requiring excellent communication and task management skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a legal setting, with a strong understanding of personal injury litigation matters.

Responsibilities:
- Calendar management and scheduling, including video conference calls
- Acting as a liaison with business clients, partners, and outside counsel
- Coordinating CLE courses for the department
- Drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents and communications
- Creating and updating organizational charts and other business value documents
- Processing expense reports, invoices, and check requests
- Managing intake and routing of special requests and processes
- Distributing and scanning mail, faxes, and express mail
- Assisting with conference event planning
- Ordering supplies and maintaining supply rooms
- Creating and updating PowerPoint presentations and other visual aids
- Maintaining accurate and organized physical and electronic files
- Making travel arrangements and coordinating ground transportation
- Registering guests, arranging for visitor/temporary badge access, and acting as primary point of contact for visitors

Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a legal secretary, paralegal, or legal assistant handling personal injury litigation matters
- Ability to perform essential job functions, including seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking
- Must be able to multi-task and follow complex instructions
- Strong organization and priority setting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Based on jurisdiction, may need to obtain and maintain a notary license

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting senior leaders on a legal team/department
- Previous experience in the insurance industry

Salary Information:
