Paralegal The candidate's duties include: Opening and maintaining files and organizing litigation documents; Drafting, editing, and finalizing pleadings, memorandums & correspondence; Drafting response to Request for Production, Interrogatories, and Request for Admissions; E-Filing/ filing documents with State and Federal courts and governmental entities; Assist with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation; Prepare and manage hearing and trial binders, with index, exhibits, charts, etc.; Manage calendars for all critical dates and deadlines; Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials; Lexis Nexis case law research; Research on arbitrator and expert resumes and profiles; Bates stamp and redact discovery documents; Enter billable time; General administrative duties, such as answering phones and managing attorney's schedules. Must be an experienced Paralegal well versed in litigation with 5+ years of experience required. Attention to grammar and accuracy, with excellent proof-reading skills is a must. Complete knowledge of court system, including but not limited to, e-filing (State & Federal), E-Service, Court Dockets, PACER, CM/ECF required. Must be familiar with state and federal rules and procedures. Must possess superior organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task, Ability to prioritize work for multiple attorneys, handle a fast-paced environment and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision. Ideal candidates will have strong software skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams) required. Paralegal and/or NALA Certification a plus. Experience in labor & employment defense a plus.
