As a Senior Associate in Partnership Tax, you will be responsible for providing tax planning, compliance, and strategy advice to clients. This role will require you to have a deep understanding of federal tax laws and regulations, as well as partnership and international tax concepts. You will also be expected to perform tax research using various platforms and provide solutions to complex tax issues. As a Senior Associate, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior team members, build and nurture client relationships, and develop a thorough understanding of the business context. This is a full-time position with up to 20% travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply federal tax laws and regulations to client situations
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of partnership and international tax concepts
- Conduct tax research using various platforms and provide solutions to complex tax issues
- Mentor and guide junior team members to maintain top standards in all deliverables
- Build and nurture client relationships to develop a deeper understanding of the business context

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law
- 2 years of experience in tax services
- Master's Degree and/or CPA or Bar membership preferred
- Strong understanding of federal tax laws and regulations
- Specific knowledge of partnership and international tax concepts
- Experience with tax research using various platforms
- Ability to document positions on complex tax issues
- Knowledge of tax consulting, planning, and due diligence
- Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment

Salary and Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $54,000 - $184,500, with the potential for an annual discretionary bonus
- Actual compensation will depend on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and location
