Paralegal The candidate's duties include securing all medical records for the injured person and organizing them for medical expert review, contacting potential expert witnesses to discuss cases and their reviews, preparing witness lists, answering discovery, organizing damages on all levels for use at trial, an ability to communicate with clients and experience in working with an attorney to prepare a case for trial. Trial preparation would include familiarity with witness organization and scheduling, subpoenas, jury instructions, motions in limine, Rule 213 F123 discovery, excellent writing skills, and pleadings. Should have 3-5 years of experience in a plaintiff's personal injury firm that handled medical malpractice cases, as well as all other types of personal injury cases. Must be an independent person who is capable of handling the file, including all typing, organization, handling deposition scheduling, case management information, motions, and docketing.
