Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is $119,490 to $238,680, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Eligible employees may also participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.

Position Summary:
The Tax Senior Manager in the Business Tax Services department at Deloitte will lead and strategize tax compliance and consulting services for individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns. This role requires extensive knowledge across multiple areas of taxation, including complex tax issues and planning opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing tax research, managing projects, and training and supervising new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors. Additionally, this role involves taking on lead client-contact roles, billing and profitability analysis, and participating in marketplace eminence building and pursuits. This position is available in 29 locations across the central region of the United States.

Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift tax returns.
- Lead client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions.
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors.
- Take on lead client-contact roles, billing and profitability analysis, and participate in marketplace eminence building and pursuits.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of public accounting experience (at least 3 years in investment management) or equivalent in law firms or industry.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible: Licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent.
- Certifications: Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents.
- Experience managing projects including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent research and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM.
- Prior Big 4 experience.
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting.
