In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing UCC financing statements, performing lien searches, and coordinating with our Finance team and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate filings. You will also assist attorneys with various tasks related to pre-closing, closing, and post-closing transactions. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm (overtime as required).
Responsibilities:
- Draft and review UCC financing statements
- Perform lien searches and prepare summaries
- Assist with reviewing perfection certificates and schedules to security documents
- Maintain and organize client documents and filings
- Obtain necessary documents from the Secretary of State
- Coordinate with internal and external teams for transaction execution
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in UCC platforms
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
- 3+ years of UCC experience preferred
Compensation:
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $130,000, based on skills, experience, and other factors. Davis Polk also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
