Duane Morris LLP, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a talented and driven Junior Patent Litigation Associate to join their growing Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in complex litigation, specifically in defending patent litigation cases. Stellar academics, strong writing skills, and the ability to work independently are required for this role. A technical degree in EE/CS is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Defend patent litigation cases on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Advocate for clients in court and during negotiations
- Keep up-to-date with developments in patent law
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice
- 2-3 years of experience in complex litigation, preferably in patent litigation
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Entrepreneurial drive and initiative
Locations:
This position can be based in one of the following offices: Austin, Atlanta, ., Philadelphia, San Francisco or Silicon Valley.
Salary Information:
The target annual salary range for this role is $235,000-$260,000. The actual pay will vary based on relevant experience, skill-set, current business needs, and market factors. This salary range is just one component of Duane Morris' total compensation package, which also includes discretionary bonuses competitive with the market, incentive packages, and firm-sponsored benefit programs.
