Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily interactions with existing and potential clients through telephone and in-person meetings.
- Order and manage medical records from healthcare providers, maintaining communication with both clients and providers throughout the treatment process.
- Obtain necessary documents to support injury and/or liability claims.
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate reductions of outstanding medical balances with providers.
- Collaborate directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
- Maintain organized and comprehensive case files.
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble necessary support documents for submission to insurance carriers.
- Interact with attorneys and present case summaries when required.
- Manage case files from intake to closing under the guidance of an attorney.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an insurance adjuster or pre-litigation paralegal is required.
- Must possess negotiating skills.
- Ability to be a team player and adhere to procedures.
- Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers is necessary.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are required.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute.
