King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Communications Manager - Awards to join its Marketing Department in Chicago, New York City, or Washington, . The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management and communications skills, and offers a generous total compensation package with bonuses and raises awarded based on individual merit-based performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic counsel and decision-making support for award nominations, including identifying opportunities that align with firm and practice objectives.
Maintain a master calendar of award opportunities and manage communication to stakeholders and decision-makers.
Coordinate with business development and practice group leaders to select and assign nominees, and ensure deadlines are met.
Manage the announcement and communication of award results, and provide reports and analysis for internal and external use.
Collaborate with consultants when needed, managing their assignments and production of work.
Serve as lead writer on high-level firm nominations and assist with other nominations when necessary.

Qualifications:

At least seven (7) years of experience in legal or professional services marketing or related role.
Experience with legal awards is strongly desired.
Strong team orientation, collaborative nature, and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
Resilience and adaptability to changing priorities, tight deadlines, and fluid situations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Information:

New York applicants: full-time annualized salary range $130,000 - $185,000.
Washington . applicants: full-time annualized salary range $123,000 - $171,000.
Salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
