Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Credits & Incentives
Experience: 8+ years in core federal tax compliance
Salary: $153,860 to $285,740 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: Multiple locations (34 available)

Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced Tax Senior Managers with a passion for providing value to clients in the areas of renewable energy, research and development, and other federal credits and incentives.
- Opportunity to work on high-value engagements for some of the world’s largest companies in a variety of industries.
- Work with a highly-experienced team and utilize standardized approaches and specialized tools to help clients understand and benefit from government incentives.
- Manage client data and serve as the lead point-of-contact for clients with both tax and technical backgrounds.
- Responsible for analyzing and documenting tax credit eligibility, performing credit calculations, and evaluating entity structuring and deal terms for tax credit investments.

Responsibilities:

- Manage federal credits and incentives opportunities, including Research and Development tax credit/deduction analyses, New Markets Tax Credit, Qualified Opportunity Zones, Renewable Energy tax credits, and other federal credit incentive service offerings.
- Utilize technical skills and industry knowledge to solve complex issues.
- Demonstrate sound judgement and instincts when evaluating various credits and incentives opportunities.
- Develop, mentor, and motivate Consultants and Senior Consultants.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model that requires co-location in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on work and client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, law, engineering, technology, or related field.
- One of the following active accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, Project Management Professional (PMP), Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), or Professional Engineer.

Preferred:

- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms.
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, LLM, or JD.
- Proven leadership skills, strong judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective research, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and participate in strategic planning initiatives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
