Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman, ., a premier civil litigation law firm in Glen Allen, VA, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. With over 50 attorneys, we are committed to providing top-notch legal services and are looking for a highly skilled professional to contribute to our success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation
- Proficient in federal and state court filings and procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent people skills and enthusiasm for tasks at hand
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management software
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work product
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain calendars and dockets to ensure timely case management
- Prepare and edit pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- File pleadings with federal and state courts
- Organize and manage both paper and electronic files
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and enhance office efficiency
Job Type: Full-time
