Job Title: Assistant District Attorney, First
Job Responsibilities:
- Prosecute felony and misdemeanor cases with guaranteed trial work.
- Assist in providing legal services to County Government Operations.
- Oversee a team of prosecutors and manage their activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the District Attorney.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school is required.
- The candidate must be an experienced attorney with prior experience as a prosecutor.
- Experience as a First Assistant District Attorney is a plus but not mandatory.
- Candidates with an interest in civil and/or Native American law are especially sought.
Salary Information:
- The salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Additional Information:
- The position is full-time and exempt, with the status being open until filled.
- The successful candidate will be working in the offices located in Jay, Oklahoma, and Miami, Oklahoma.
