As Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in our US Legal Division, reporting to the Senior Counsel and Director of Regulatory Practice. This is a full-time position based in either our Scottsdale, AZ or Lansdowne, VA office.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about using their legal skills to defend the right of individuals to freely live out their faith. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research, interviews with clients and witnesses
- Prepare and respond to written discovery and defend depositions
- Draft pleadings and briefs, and represent clients in court and before administrative agencies
- File public comments and engage in meetings on government regulatory matters
- Track and report on federal agency and executive branch actions
- Interpret laws and regulations for individuals and businesses
- Collaborate with colleagues and allies on legal proceedings
- Cooperate with the Development team, including speaking engagements and events
- Review contracts and legal issues
- Interact with media on cases and issues
- Advise network attorneys and allies on legal matters within your expertise
- Network and build relationships with potential network attorneys and allies

Requirements for Success:

- Bachelor's degree
- . and licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
- Experience in litigating administrative law, constitutional claims, and challenges to regulations and administrative actions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Westlaw
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and project management abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
