Job Title: Legal Assistant/Intake Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
- Initial client contact via phone, email, or other means
- Client onboarding tasks including managing initial paperwork and documents requested from new clients, scheduling initial consultations with attorneys, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for potential clients
- Assist paralegals with scheduling site visits, retrieving or returning expert job files, bates labeling with Adobe, saving pleadings and other documents, and other legal assistant tasks as assigned; potential to transition into a full-time paralegal position
- Office administration tasks such as bank runs, office supply orders, printer management, and other tasks as assigned

Education and Experience Information:
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent listening skills are crucial
- Strong organizational skills, administrative skills, and attention to detail are a must
- Exemplary confidentiality and professionalism are essential
- Familiarity with technology, as the office strives to be paperless and uses Mac OS, Clio, and other cloud technology

Salary Information:
- Salary: - per hour depending on experience
- Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

The law firm is a boutique law office focusing on construction defect law and is seeking a three-quarter or full-time Legal Assistant/Intake Specialist for its Denver office. After the initial training, this position can be fulfilled remotely, with only three office days expected per week. The firm is looking for candidates who are energetic, self-starters with great organization skills, enjoy working with potential clients, demonstrate superior customer service, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Time management skills to organize, prioritize assignments, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment, along with great attention to detail, are essential for this role.
