Must have a working knowledge of interpretation and application of State, Federal, administrative, insurance and regulatory laws and general legal issues that affect a healthcare hospital and related services.
Must be able to speak with, coordinate, provide guidance to, and assist management and healthcare providers at all levels of responsibility throughout the organization, as well as collaborate with retained legal counsel.
Must be a licensed attorney in the state of Ohio and maintain memberships with local and state bar associations.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably with healthcare law experience.

Organization is seeking a highly qualified and experienced In House Counsel to join our team at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. in the Legal Services Department. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week. The In House Counsel will serve as legal counsel for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and provide legal services, assist with operational leadership, and coordinate legal services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably with healthcare law experience, and hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and direction to leadership, employees, and retained legal counsel acting on behalf of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and affiliated entities.
- Support the Chief Legal Officer in various legal matters.
- Collaborate with retained legal counsel and maintain memberships with local and state bar associations.
- Stay updated on State, Federal, administrative, insurance and regulatory laws and general legal issues affecting healthcare hospitals and related services.
- Coordinate, provide guidance to, and assist management and healthcare providers at all levels of responsibility throughout the organization.

Requirements:

- Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably with healthcare law experience.
- Working knowledge of State, Federal, administrative, insurance and regulatory laws and general legal issues affecting healthcare hospitals and related services.
- Licensed attorney in the state of Ohio and must maintain memberships with local and state bar associations.
- Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
