Job Title: Finance Associate

Law Firm is seeking a mid-senior level Finance Associate with experience in sponsor or lender side finance.

Salary: $250,000 - $370,000 per year

Experience:
- Mid-senior level associate
- Experience at a peer firm
- Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in sophisticated financings
- Experience with acquisitions, buyouts, restructurings, special situations and other corporate finance transactions

Responsibilities:
- Representing lenders such as investment and commercial banks, business development companies, and other providers of debt financing
- Representing borrowers, including private equity sponsors
- Handling complex and sophisticated finance transactions
- Collaborating with other departments and attorneys within the firm
- Assisting with the negotiation and drafting of financing documents
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Providing guidance and advice to clients on legal matters
- Participating in business development efforts

Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of New York
- 3-7 years of experience in finance law
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Proactive and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
