The Farragut Square Group, McDermottPlus’ research and advisory division, is seeking a Senior Business Development Associate to lead the business development process and drive sales in the M&A Advisory sector. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Description:

As a Senior Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for the entire business development process, from identifying potential targets to converting leads into revenue. This role requires strong product knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to independently drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate leads by building relationships with corporate executives and private equity funds.
- Effectively communicate the value and services of the division.
- Keep existing leads warm while seeking new opportunities.
- Remain up-to-date on potential merger and acquisition opportunities.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Utilize the consultative sales process to create conversion opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer base and product to deliver impactful pitches.
- Proactively follow up on pitches to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with executives and private equity professionals to maximize opportunities for the firm.
- Consistently achieve or surpass established sales quotas.

Job Requirements:

- At least 5-7 years of sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of the consultative sales process.
- Ability to follow up in an ongoing and engaging manner.
- Results-oriented with strong writing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).

Compensation:

- Competitive base salary with a strong commission structure.

- Salary range: $90,000 - $125,000 (based on market location and job-related factors).
