Responsibilities:

- Meet with clients in various industries to provide advice on trade compliance matters, such as import and export regulations
- Lead and manage client projects, including trade compliance audits, program development, and training
- Support market development and thought leadership initiatives, including writing articles
- Research, write, and review advice on export compliance matters
- Assist in the management, career development, and training of team members

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:

- Provide leadership to Associates and review their work

Qualifications:

- Minimum of one year of recent direct experience in trade compliance, including knowledge of . Customs and Border Protection rules and regulations, Harmonized Tariff Code, and export compliance
- Bachelor's degree, ., . in taxation, or MBA from an accredited college or university
- In-depth experience with . import and export control regulations and the ability to provide practical solutions for complex matters
- General export control and sanctions experience, including compliance audits and assessments, voluntary self-disclosures, and advisory opinion requests
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth reviews of transactional data using data and analytics
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:

- Minimum of three years of recent direct experience in import and/or export compliance matters
- United States Customs Broker or CUSECO certification preferred

- Salary ranges vary by location and are determined based on relevant factors, such as skills, job responsibilities, and market considerations
