Law Firm Seeking Project Assistant in Dayton Office

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., an AmLaw 200 firm, is currently looking for a Project Assistant to join our Dayton, OH office. The Project Assistant will work with the Business Litigation Practice Group and will be responsible for various administrative and billable tasks. Responsibilities:

- Review and organize case files with the assistance of docket clerks.
- Assist in drafting, filing, and serving legal documents such as answers, complaints, and subpoenas.
- Coordinate filings with the Docket department.
- Prepare discovery documents and responses.
- Arrange for court reporters and/or videotape technicians.
- Summarize deposition transcripts.
- Review and organize produced documents.
- Draft affidavits, motions, and stipulations.
- Prepare responses to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admission.
- Obtain and verify factual information from various sources.
- Organize document repositories and prepare and serve notices and subpoenas.
- Prepare exhibits and other materials for trial.
- Coordinate equipment and supplies needed for trial.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

- Previous legal assisting experience.
- Four-year college degree preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with document review platforms such as Relativity.
- Basic understanding of Ohio and Federal Rules and Civil Procedure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word and Excel.
- Typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing workloads and assist Legal Assistants with various tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle tasks under pressure.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if needed.
