Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in client consultations and challenge unclaimed property and escheat approaches for optimal effectiveness
- Develop strong relationships with clients and effectively team with internal resources
- Implement extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements
- Contribute to achieving team goals and provide feedback
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience
- CPA certification, US Bar membership, or professional designation from the IPT
- Technical expertise in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services
- Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance
- Broad exposure to state and local taxation
- Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment
